Slow Speed Zone Ahead

in a flash!

Mama, Daddy, Sandi, Sage, John, Behm, & I celebrated my birthday last night. Good food, birthday cake, cards, roses, love & laughter. What more could you want? Unless it would be Sonya, Joel, Mia & Julian here with us celebrating.

Sonya sent me a CD that included my "funeral song" and Sandi bought my "funeral flowers" for me. I have told them for years that if they didn't play "Way Over Yonder" by Carole King at my funeral I would haunt them forever. Last week at a visitation I saw the prettiest floral arrangement & told Behm I wanted that for my funeral. I was telling Sandi about it yesterday & she got the purple roses for me and told me to enjoy them while I was living.

I did the Wii Fit & my age was exactly right. I still have enough air to blow out all the candles at one time! Don't count, there aren't 55!

Thank you all for a wonderful birthday! I love ya'll!

Happy birthday! Glad you visited because it gave me the chance to see you and yours. Your daddy was quite the stud in his youth. And I love the American-Indian dolls in the glass-front. I'd like to see more of those. Guess I'll dig through you blog and see if you showed them off.

Thank you! I'll have to take pictures the next time I'm at Mama's. Their house is full of all kinds of goodies! Yes, Daddy was & still is a looker!!

That is so weird. I told my kids awhile back that is the same song I want for my funeral. One of us is going to be REAL shook up when we attend the other ones funeral. I don't want to think about it.
Hope you had a good birthday party. Yes, your daddy is a good looker but more than that, he's a TERRIFIC dad, husband, peepaw, son, brother and uncle. (Hummm, could that mean he's his own grandpa?) ha! And you know what else? He's got a GREAT woman as a wife that I am proud to call my aunt.
