Lurking in the garden during daylight hours? He's back! I just love to see this owl. He makes me smile when he hoots and he is loud!
I don't know if he was cooking something on the grill or just hoping it would keep him warm.

We were at the park on Saturday and these people were looking up in this tree and I asked what they were looking at and they said an owl. It was a little screech owl that makes its home in this little crook in this tall tree overlooking the playground. They say it, or it's babies come back every year to live here in the park.
Dude owls are the best. we used to have one who took a residence at our old high school gym on top of the building. it would always swoop down spread its wings out and it would scare the crap out of the freshman girls haha
